About the Project
The Small Communities of Ukraine program is a strategic initiative aimed at preserving and developing Jewish heritage in the most remote corners of our country. We recognize that Jewish identity does not depend on the size of a community, and that every community, even the smallest, deserves support and the opportunity to thrive.
Mission
We strive to create a strong network of support for Jewish communities in small towns and villages across Ukraine. Our goal is to ensure that every community, regardless of its size or geographic location, has access to spiritual resources, educational materials, and opportunities to celebrate traditional holidays with dignity and joy.

We consider a small community to be a Jewish community in small towns and villages in Ukraine that has limited resources to independently organize a full religious and cultural life. The size of the community is not the main criterion — the need for support and the desire to preserve Jewish identity are more important. To join the program, you just need to contact our coordinators, who will consult with you, assess the needs of your community, and develop an individual support plan. We work with communities of different faiths, respecting their traditions and characteristics.
