About the Project
The network of kindergartens “Gan Zelda” operates in different cities of Ukraine, providing quality preschool education in the Jewish tradition. Our kindergartens are places where kids take their first steps in learning about the world. They provide children with harmonious development, combining a general preschool program with elements of Jewish education. As in our schools, before the outbreak of full-scale war, the network of kindergartens enrolled about 1,000 children. After a temporary reduction in enrollment, we are now seeing a gradual return of families. Our caring educators create a creative, safe environment where children learn about Jewish traditions, holidays and values through play.

FAQ
In our kindergartens, children are naturally introduced to Jewish traditions through play, creativity, and holiday celebrations — from Hanukkah with dreidels to Purim with costume performances. We present our cultural heritage in an accessible and joyful way so that children develop a positive Jewish identity from an early age.
